Nishli sits in the sweet spot between neo grotesk and static industrial fonts like the german DIN fonts and alike. It is not based on a forgotten masterpiece nor a modernised design in the line of a classic traditions. It’s build from scratch all the painful way until the initial bulky constructivism becomes well balanced with typographic fine tuning.Extreme weights and widths and the clean industrial modernism with an additional rounding feature add countless possibilities for display use.
It is a great choice for in your face display type – for example with an elegant Hairline or the super-massive ultra black as well as ultra expanded cuts. The grotesk humanisation though, setting it apart from mathematical constructed industrial fonts and makes up for a well readable text font.
