Combloc

Combloc is a bold, modular display typeface with a geometric grid construction inspired by Soviet Constructivism and industrial cargo lettering. Its DNA consists of a cold, industrial geometry rooted in the former Eastern Bloc, yet softened from within, as if slowly melting in a core meltdown. With its airy character and essential geometry of round and angular shapes, the Light weight possesses an architectural quality that could easily sit alongside Italian design classics from the 1960s. Black weights are also optimized for legibility under the heavy influence of vodka.
In addition to three core weights, Combloc also offers angular „Hard“ styles as well as dynamic Slanted and Extra Slanted variants.

Due to its strong constructed, alarmist character, the typeface is available as an all-caps design, although future updates will likely introduce lowercase letters as well.
Combloc supports the full Cyrillic alphabet, including localized forms, and also includes a set of icons.
